There is little that is more Christmassy than the delightful Nigella Lawson and her mildly pervy cooking, but why was she in Amsterdam? This was what I wanted to know. Was she keen to turn a cookery show into a travel show, but only somewhere you could get by Eurostar? Or was there some other reason? Cheap weed? I don’t mean to be pernickety, but for a show called Nigella’s Amsterdam Christmas this seemed a highly pertinent question. Call it a Christmas mystery.
